We love making high-quality, stylish baby clothes using organic materials and a grow-with-me philosophy.

Beautiful colours, high-quality materials, a comfy fit and an emphasis on sustainability are basic principles of our growing brand. For every piece we design and sew in our Kingston, Ontario studio, we pair an exceptional attention to detail with carefully-sourced certified organic fabrics manufactured with non-toxic inks and dyes.

Our grow-with-me philosophy means that our clothes are designed with adjustable features that extend the life of the garment, allowing our clothes to last comfortably through multiple sizes. Combined with our high quality fabrics and materials, our garments reduce your cost-per-wear dramatically.

We use super soft organic cotton fabrics and sew every item with comfy seams and non-elastic waistbands to help your little one play freely now - and in the months and years ahead.

Meet Lindsay

As a successful interior designer and colour expert, Pure Colour Baby’s Lindsay Down has spent more than 15 years helping clients redesign their homes and offices into beautiful spaces balancing form and function with gorgeous combinations of colours and prints. When she had children of her own, she set out to find baby clothing that - just like the rooms she’d created for her own clients - was not only beautiful to look at, but comfortable and practical to live in. Finding few options available, she soon began making her own. Within a few years, her passion for sewing comfortable, stylish and practical clothing for her own children using organic, long-lasting materials had grown into the Pure Colour Baby line of apparel and accessories.

A mother of two proud to design and produce every item with care from the company’s Ontario studio, Lindsay draws daily inspiration from her own children - as well as those who’ve become part of the Pure Colour Baby family. Channeling the same creativity she honed over years of delivering beautifully functional interior spaces, Lindsay designs eco-conscious garments that combine colours and comfort babies will love alongside touches like adjustable lengths and grow-with-me fits for long-lasting, high cost-per-wear results.
